This achievement, for the second consecutive year, reflects FIPCO’s continued efforts to increase local content score and support the national economy, in line with the strategic plan established by its Board of Directors. The company has mobilized all available resources to raise its local content contribution by enhancing national purchasing power and contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

FIPCO’s obtaining a high local content score compared to companies operating in the industrial and mining sector will be significantly reflected on reinforcing its position and providing its clients with competitive advantages, including pricing preference in government tenders and increased added value for their projects. This was accomplished despite several challenges, most notably the lack of compliance by some public entities with the preferential treatment owed to high local content projects, whether due to limited awareness of the importance of this criterion or as a result of administrative exemptions and exceptional practices that reduce the effectiveness of national initiatives. This award, therefore, stands as clear evidence of FIPCO’s unwavering commitment to advancing local content in the face of operational and regulatory obstacles.

It’s worth mentioning that FIPCO was chosen among its competitors in the industrial and mining sector (category of large establishments) to receive the Excellence Award from (LCGPA) after successfully passing all evaluations and qualification criteria developed by specialized experts and independent arbitrators.

This award was presented to Mr. Abdullah Alharbi, the CEO of FIPCO, by His Excellency Mr. Bandar AlKhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of LCGPA, and Mr. Abdulrahman Alsamari, the CEO of LCGPA, during the ceremony of the Local Content Award held on the evening of Wednesday, Apr.30, 2025.

FIPCO will continue to implement and support initiatives aimed at further increasing its local content, with a commitment to making this award a recurring recognition earned year after year.
